Rose Ranch is a 48-acre farm dedicated to biodiversity, sustainable living and having fun! We raise grass-fed beef and we have planted a small orchard. Together with these, several herb and vegetable gardens provide us with a large portion of our food for much of the year. Current projects include rainwater capture, building a small greenhouse and improving the outdoor living area. In December 2009, we installed a 3.5 kilowatt wind turbine so we can generate clean energy. In 2011, we installed 24 rooftop solar panels. Future plans include expanding our beekeeping endeavors as well as the gardens. Our farm is located just outside the Oklahoma City limits in Jones.
